Frequently asked questions

How does a fan dance work?

You reserve a spot in a creator's session window. When it's your turn, we connect the two of you for a live, one-on-one, 2-minute video call. Afterward you receive the watermarked, verified video of your own session.

When am I charged?

When you complete a booking. Every purchase is a single session with a named creator, at the price shown before you confirm. There are no subscriptions, credits, or bundles.

The creator couldn't make it. What now?

If a session doesn't happen, you choose a full refund or a free reschedule — see our Order Policies. Refunds go back to your original payment method.

Something went wrong during my call.

If a technical problem cut your session short, email us with the fan dance ID and we'll make it right with a redo or a refund.

How do I check a fan dance is real?

Every fan dance video is watermarked with a unique ID and QR code. Scan the QR, or enter the ID in the app under Verify a fan dance, to confirm it was recorded live on Fan Dance and is not AI-generated.

When do I get my video?

After the call ends, the recording is processed and released to your account — you'll get a notification, and it appears with your session. It's yours to replay and share.

How do I delete my account?

See Delete Account. We'll remove your account and personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

I'm a creator. How do payouts work?

Creator earnings are paid out automatically via Stripe. Questions about onboarding, verification, or a payout: email hello@fan.dance.
